ONLINE CATALOG – SALES, FREIGHT & WARRANTY TERMS

PAYMENT TERMS for purchasers with established credit are NET 30 DAYS from date of invoice.  We gladly accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa.

QUOTATIONS on large quantities and Special Items are available on request.  Phone, e-mail or fax your request.  All quotations are subject to prompt acceptance and we reserve the right to correct typographical or similar errors.

SALES TAX – NY State and local, is required to be charged on items for which tax exemption certification has not been provided.  When ordering, please indicate which items are tax exempt.  Customers are responsible for providing a valid tax exemption certificate.

CLAIMS – Please notify us promptly of any errors in filling your order.  Any claims for discrepancies in shipment must be made within seven (7) days of receipt of merchandise.  Damages incurred in commercial shipments must be claimed with the carrier.

CANCELLATION/RETURNS – Unless we have erred, returns must be prepaid.  All merchandise must be returned in its original packaging in saleable condition and accompanied with a return authorization number and invoice number.  No merchandise will be accepted for return without a valid invoice.  Items ordered specially from the Manufacturer are subject to the Manufacturer’s Return Policies.  No merchandise which is special made or which has been held for over 30 days will be accepted for return.  Any cancellation must be approved by Felber’s Building Supply, and may be subject to restocking and other charges.

RESPONSIBILITY – The information herein is supplied by the manufacturers of the items and while we believe it to be generally correct, we do not guarantee it.  Illustrations and descriptions are for the sole purpose of identification and do not express or imply a warranty that the products are merchantable or fit for a particular purpose, or that the product will necessarily conform to the illustration or descriptions.  The value of material sent is our only liability.

WARRANTY – As the seller, we make no warranties, expressed or implied, of performance, merchantability, quality, fitness or suitability of the merchandise in any respect including its fitness for the purpose and uses of the buyer.  Before using, the user must determine the suitability of the product for its intended use and the user assumes all risk in connection therewith.  The only warranties applying to materials sold are those specifically provided by the manufacturer.  The obligations of the seller are limited to repair or replacement of defective parts, or at its option, to refund of the purchase price.  Seller is not liable for incidental or consequential damages.

FREIGHT – Unless otherwise agreed to in writing, freight will be charged for shipments to customer’s place of business using a carrier of our choice.  Items backordered from any order qualifying for prepaid shipping charges will be shipped prepaid.
